Hello, my name is Travis Monk and I'm a Mortgage Originator here at FirstBank Southwest.  I have been in the sales/finance industry for the past 20+ years and am looking forward to meeting you and earning your business.  Buying a home is usually the largest purchase a person will make; therefore it can be a stressful process. My goal is to communicate and help make the home buying process as smooth and enjoyable as possible for the buyer. I was born in Hereford and have spent the majority of my life here in Amarillo.  I have been married for 10 years to my wife Amy, who is a realtor.  We have dog children (we like to rescue large breed dogs) and currently have a mastiff mix named Petey.  In our free time, we enjoy riding our motorcycle on trips to places all across the county like California, Minnesota, North Carolina, and everywhere in between.
